Hello! My name is Amelie Dall'erba. There are many things that interest me, but two things I have a lot of experience with are baking and hiking.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, my family has found that hiking in forest preserves and reserves in and around Champaign-Urbana have been a great way to spend time and get to know Illinois better. There are many, many trails and preserves in Illinois, but I name a few of my favorites on the Hiking page. Hopefully you'll come to love hiking in Illinois as much as I do!
The pandemic has also given me a lot of free time to start expanding on my hobby. I have some excellent cooks in my house, but not so many bakers. I took that role, and started to learn how to cook sweet things to satisfy my tastebuds. On the Baking page, I outline a few of my favorite recipies to try, as well as some inside-info on the recipie. I reccomend several cookbooks for different experiences of baking. Some Tips and Tricks will hopefully be good advice on how to make baking a bit easier!(I also have some photos at the bottom)
